Who We Are

FlyBibe (flybibe.com) is a travel search and booking platform focused on flights and activities for remote workers and digital nomads. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

  • When you search for flights or activities: we may collect your search inputs (such as origin, destination, dates, and filters like wifi or visa preferences) to run your search and improve the relevance of results shown to you.
  • When you sign up for our email list: if you provide your email address to receive a lead magnet or newsletter, we collect and store your email address and any name you provide. Email signups are managed through EmailOctopus or MailPoet, and your information is stored with whichever provider we use to send that communication.
  • When you leave a comment: if comments are enabled on a blog post, we collect the information shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. A hashed (anonymized) version of your email address may be shared with Gravatar to check whether you have a Gravatar account. Gravatar's privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your name and profile picture (if you have one linked to your email through Gravatar) are visible publicly alongside the comment.
  • When you use the contact form: we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and message, to respond to your inquiry.

Booking Search and Partner Sites

FlyBibe helps you search flights and activities and compares options across our booking partners, currently including Aviasales and Tiquet, with additional partners such as Booking.com, Trip.com, or Viator added over time.

When you choose to book, you'll be taken to the partner site to complete your reservation. Search details you entered on FlyBibe (such as your travel dates and destination) may be passed along to that partner so your results carry over. Once you're on a partner's site, that site's own privacy policy and terms govern how your information is collected and used. We recommend reviewing the partner's policy before completing a booking.

Cookies

We use cookies to support core site features and to understand how visitors use FlyBibe.

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to having your name, email address, and website saved in a cookie so you don't have to re-enter them on your next comment. This cookie lasts one year.

We also use analytics and advertising cookies, described below.

Analytics and Advertising

  • Google Analytics 4: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic and how visitors use FlyBibe, including pages viewed, referral source, and general location and device information. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Independent analytics: we also use a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not rely on cookies to track visitors, to give us a cookieless view of overall site traffic and trends.
  • Pinterest tag: we use the Pinterest tag to understand how visitors arrive at FlyBibe from Pinterest and to measure the performance of our pins. Pinterest's privacy policy is available at https://policy.pinterest.com/privacy-policy.
  • Meta Pixel: we may use the Meta Pixel to understand traffic from Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and to measure ad performance if we run paid campaigns. Meta's privacy policy is available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Embedded Content

Blog posts and pages on FlyBibe may include embedded content, such as videos, maps, or booking widgets, from other websites. This content behaves the same way as if you visited that other website directly, and that site may collect data about you, set its own cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

Who We Share Your Data With

We share information with:

  • Booking partners (currently Aviasales and Tiquet, with others added over time), when you search or choose to book through them
  • EmailOctopus or MailPoet, to manage and send email communications you've signed up for
  • Google Analytics, our independent analytics provider, Pinterest, and Meta, for the analytics and advertising purposes described above
  • A spam detection service, to help identify and filter spam comments
  • Gravatar, for the hashed email lookup described in the Comments section

We don't sell your personal information to third parties.

If you request a password reset (applicable only if account login is added to the site in the future), your IP address is included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely, so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them for manual review.

Email addresses collected for the newsletter or lead magnet are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Contact form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal data we hold about you, including the right to request a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email hello@flybibe.com.

Some data may be retained beyond a deletion request where we're required to keep it for legal, security, or administrative reasons.

Children's Privacy

FlyBibe is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@flybibe.com and we'll remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as FlyBibe's booking partners, tools, or features change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
